On Wednesday, CBS gathered with the cast, crew and executive producers of its upcoming history-making new soap, Beyond The Gates, the debut project from the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the show’s soundstages outside of Atlanta, GA. The exciting event took place prior to the first table read of the first episodes of the show.
In addition, the cast gathered and contributed signed scripts and letters to their future selves that will be placed inside a time capsule and encased on the soap’s stages for future retrieval. Physical production for the series starts Friday, Nov. 1. Click on the gallery to check out behind-the-scenes photos that were taken on this momentous occasion!
