Dick Christie (Charlie Webber): The guard at Forrester Creations will be on the ready, should anyone else need escorting out of the building.
Jade Coatsworth (Kingsley): The character is back to flirt it up with Will (Crew Morrow). The actress was previously in the film Strangers with Jon Voight, playing Julie. She trained in comedy at The Groundlings School in Los Angeles.
Jasmine Dampiér (Toni): The stunning Forrester Creations employee will be on again this week. Dampiér has also been seen in the TV series Family Still Matters TV and the film Family Still Matters.
Heidi Grace Engerman (Lainey): Another worker at Forrester Creations, Lainey will be seen again this week. She was in the 2021 film Candyman and had a recurring role in prime-time in Chicago Fire.
Shannon McMullen (Willow): McMullen is back as Willow (not to be confused with Katelyn MacMullen, who plays Willow on General Hospital). The actress portrayed Jane Silver in Portraits of Sari and Dr. Babe in the TV series Y2K Babes. She also played Krista Fallows in the short Happy Campers: A Short Musical Adventure.
Krystal Mosely (Jail Guard): There will be a visit to the jail, so of course the prisoner will need to be brought in. Mosely was previously seen in The Neon Highway and the shorts Hunter, The Gatekeeper and Aflame.
Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa): Poppy (Romy Park) will pay her murderous daughter a visit, seeking more answers about why she did what she did. Yamada, who made her B&B debut last September, was last seen in August.
Days of our Lives
Colton Little (Andrew Donovan): Look for the character to return to Salem this week for a special occasion.
Martha Madison (Belle Black Brady): Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (Drake Hogestyn) daughter returns this week for their anniversary celebration. The actress, who started on the show in 2004, replaced Kirsten Storms (now GH’s Maxie Jones) at the time. She remained until 2008 and came back in 2015. Belle was last seen in November of 2023.
Emily O’Brien (Gwen Rizczech): It was announced at Day of Days, DAYS’s annual fan event, which took place on November 2, that the actress is returning to the show (she can be seen in the show’s winter preview). On Instagram, she wrote, “The cat (and wig) is out of the bag! Thanks for the warm welcome back to Salem! Now buckle your seatbelts. Oh and thanks @paultelfer [Xander] for the hairbrush ;)” Digest has learned that she’ll actually be bringing both of her characters back in 2025. Theresa will be seen in March and then in July, get ready to welcome Gwen back to town. The actress first joined DAYS in 2020 as Gwen. In October of 2023, she left as Gwen and, in the same episode, made her debut as Theresa, taking over the role from departing star Jen Lilley. She played Theresa until the character was carted off to Statesville in August of this year.
James Read (Clyde Weston): Salem’s big bad of the moment will be in scenes with Chad (Billy Flynn) this week. Considering all that Clyde has done to Chad, get ready for an intense confrontation.
Christopher Sean (Paul Narita): John’s son will also be back and he’ll have his serious boyfriend Andrew with him. Sean first appeared in 2014, staying until 2018. The actor returned from 2022-2023 and was last seen in Salem earlier this year. He opened up about his last comeback to Digest here.
Finley Rose Slater (Rachel Black): Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) daughter will be spending some quality time with both of her parents this week.
General Hospital
Cosette Abinante (Scout Cain): Scout will be on screen this week as she reels from the death of her mother, Sam (Kelly Monaco).
Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan): Sam and Jason’s (Steve Burton) son is also in the mix this week.
Finn Francis Carter (Rocco Falconeri): Lulu and Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son appears again this week as the on-screen fall-out from Sam’s death continues.
Carlo Rota (Jenz Sidwell): The villain who held Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) captive and nearly killed Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) returns to the canvas this week — and since Holly (Emma Samms) took off with his diamonds, we can imagine what’s first on his agenda. The actor made his GH debut in August and opened up to Digest about his experience on the show here.
Parry Shen (Brad Cooper): Brad will seek out his ex, Lucas (Van Hansis), this week, eager to provide him support in the wake of the shocking death of his half sister, Sam.
Young and Restless
Vail Bloom (Heather Stevens): The deceased character’s ghost has been haunting Sharon (Sharon Case), so the actress has been back at work.
Christopher Cousins (Dr. Alan Laurent): Traci (Beth Maitland) and her boyfriend will be featured in scenes this week.
Who’s Going
General Hospital
Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall): The beloved star appeared in her final episode after over 20 years on the ABC soap on Friday, November 1, though the character officially passed away on Wednesday, October 30. On X (formerly Twitter) on October 31, her on-screen mom, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), wrote, “As hard as it may be for #gh viewers to watch today’s episodes and the episodes to follow, it was equally as hard for me and my casemates to play. Playing Kelly Monaco’s mom has been effortless and the love is real.” On the official Instagram account of her on-screen daughter, Cosette Abinante (Scout), a message posted on November 4 read, “It all felt real because Cosette loves @kelly_m23. It was a tough couple weeks of filming all of this. We will miss Kelly so much. Love her and are grateful for her mentorship on set with Cosette. She taught her everything there is to know about being on a Soap.”
Real-Life Status
James Van Der Beek (ex-Stephen Anderson, As The World Turns; ex-Dawson Leery, Dawson’s Creek) confirmed in People that he has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The 47-year-old actor told the outlet, “There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good.”
Industry News
Beyond The Gates celebrated a milestone. The upcoming CBS soap had a ribbon cutting on their studio and their first table read, in advance of starting shooting on Friday, November 1. The show also released the final list of actors who have joined as part of the original cast.
Days of our Lives was picked up for another year. The renewal news was released the evening before the show’s annual celebration with fans, Day of DAYS, was scheduled.

Lori Loughlin (ex-Jody Travis, Edge of Night) has joined the first scripted streaming project from Law & Order guru Dick Wolf called First Look. The police drama will stream on Prime Video…. Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan Ashford, GH) shared that her new project with Oscar-nominated Colman Domingo, The Madness, drops on Netflix on Nov. 28.
